Who we are
Kingfisher Cellars is the passion project of the owner and winemaker Daniel.
Growing up he worked on farms and wineries as a farm hand learning how to grow and make. While going to college for Horticulture he started homebrewing mead as a way to get more experience with fermentation. What started as out as “kinda drinkable” evolved and improved with every batch. “I can do better” was the motto.
After several vintages working as a viticulturalist and learning from winemakers came the breakthrough. A high quality mead that expresses and drinks like a wine. Friends and Judges both agreed!
With that Daniel moved forward with developing Kingfisher Cellars and bringing high quality, fun and unique meads to the market.
